Please remember that these numbers are average MINIMUM requirements and vary according to raid bosses.
Some bosses need to be taken down before they reach their enrage timer.

Have a look at www.wow-heroes.com to check which of your characters fit in a given raid.

Feel free to correct the numbers if you think I've got these wrong.

See you in Azeroth Smile

Raid requirements Empty
PostSubject: Re: Raid requirements   Raid requirements EmptyWed Apr 21, 2010 4:28 pm

As a follow up to the topic of raids for Heaven, I'm interested to find out the following from our members:

How much time can you devote to a raid session ?

What time would best suit you to raid ? Please specify the day(s) and realm time that would suit you.

Which characters can you raid with ? Please specify the name, class and role (tank, healer, DPS) of your main raid character and possibly 1 alt character you wish to go raiding with.

Finally, which of the lev 80 raids (listed above) are you most interested to do ?

Looking forward to your input !

Thanks

hi guys

for icc 10 man raids 2 days is enough and each day 3hrs initial we may struggle to learn mechanics and with wipes but once we progress its easy

first thing first know your class well gear will come in time thats not problem

"http://elitistjerks.com/forums.php#class_mechanics" this should be your guide

use vent or teamspeak saves time in explaining the tactics

all should read up tactics or watch videos before coming to raid and dont expect raid leader to tell everthing

seriously take only ppl who are geared(that includes me if am not geared i am out thats it) and willing to wipe if we are short pug them once we do some runs we can gear others easily

i am free on saturdays would love to do some raids with u guys

there are some addons that we need for raid ora2 and bigwigs

http://www.wowace.com/addons/ora2/

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/big-wigs.aspx

ask me in game or post here if u have any questions

First of all, many thanks to the few people who have sent feedback in game or on this forum like Paty above.

While finding a suitable time for all to raid is always difficult, we still managed to get a handful of raids going successfully.

However, the turn out is usually low with only 6 or 7 core players joining at the expected time.
We all have real life commitments beside WoW but we won't be able to create decent raid teams if people accept invites and do not show up as promised.

Raids take time and one should expect at least 2-3 hours of play to make the event worthwhile. Some raids (Naxx, Ulduar, ICC) need several days of play time to get cleared: in the current state of affairs, I can't see us achieving that.

I will focus on shorter raids such as Onyxia, Vault of Archavon (VoA) and Obsidian Sanctum for the moment while ensuring the weekly raid for frost badges and the ICC rep run are maintained.
Please make every effort to attend the raids if you accept the calendar invites to guarantee we have a full group ready to go when raid time comes.

Thanks for reading Cool
